The Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, will host a workshop titled "Workshop on Metamaterial Antennas & Applications", focusing on metamaterial-based antennas, bringing together experts and researchers in the hashtag#RF and hashtag#microwave fields to explore the latest advancements.

Key topics will include electromagnetic properties of metamaterials, compact and polarized antennas, metasurfaces for far-field enhancement, and additive manufacturing. The event will also cover phased array antennas, metasurface reflectors, multi-band and wideband metamaterial antennas, and MIMO antennas with polarization converter metasurfaces. Participants will also learn about the fabrication and testing of these innovative antennas.

The workshop will aim to foster knowledge exchange and showcase cutting-edge design and implementation techniques in the field of metamaterial antennas.
