Excitement is mounting as we are all set to host the 57th Inter IIT Students Sports Meet and the 29th Inter IIT Staff Sports Meet, bringing together over 3,500 participants from 23 IITs across India. 

This prestigious annual event, scheduled from December 10-24, celebrates athletic excellence, competitive spirit, and the camaraderie that defines the IIT community.

The Students Sports Meet will be held from December 10 to December 17, where participants will compete in basketball, tennis, cricket, hockey, table tennis, and volleyball, showcasing their dedication and sporting prowess. Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj, an Indian para-badminton player and World No. 1 in men's singles, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. He won silver medals at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympics.

The Staff Sports Meet will follow from December 19-24, featuring events such as basketball, tennis, cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, athletics, squash, badminton, and chess. This year, the chess event will include participation from Differently-Abled Persons, highlighting the event’s commitment to inclusivity and representation.
