We are delighted to share that Ms. Arvapalli Sai Susmitha, PhD scholar from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has been awarded the Best Project/Methodology Award at the Medical Image Understanding and Analysis (MIUA) Conference 2025, at the University of Leeds, UK.

Her paper, “Exploring Context-Switching in Medical Image Retrieval Using Segmentation Models”, co-supervised by Prof. Vinay Namboodiri and Sunil Simon, was recognised for its innovative contribution to medical imaging and AI research.
