We are proud to share that Ekta, Ayushi Mairal, and Triya Saha, PhD scholars from the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, under the mentorship of Prof. Ashok Kumar, have won the Grand Finale of the National Bio Entrepreneurship Competition (NBEC 2025) in the Student Team Category, emerging victorious among 750 competing entries.

The finale, conducted by Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), was held on 23 August 2025 in Bengaluru, where the award was presented by Dr. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Executive Chairperson & Founder of Biocon Limited.
