Congratulations to Ms. Keerthika Kadagala for Winning Best Paper Award at UPCON-2024. We are pleased to inform you that Ms. Keerthika Kadagala, a final year B. Tech student from the Electrical Engineering (EE) Department, has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the 11th IEEE UP Section International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering (UPCON-2024) held in Lucknow. This research work was carried out as part of her undergraduate project under the supervision of Prof. Raghvendra Kumar Chaudhary, EE, IIT Kanpur. UPCON is the flagship conference of the IEEE UP Section, India, and this achievement highlights Ms. Kadagala's exceptional research work and contributions to the field. The awarded paper titled ‘compact epsilon-negative metamaterial-inspired textile antenna’ designed for on-body wearable applications, showcased her innovative research in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. The work was co-authored by Anubhav Kumar, and Raghvendra Kumar Chaudhary, whose collaborative efforts contributed to this significant achievement.
