Mr. Subhra Sourav Jana from the Department of Material Science and Engineering has been conferred the DAE-SSPS best PhD thesis award for the year 2023, given by the Department of Atomic Energy and BARC at the 67th DAE Solid State Physics Symposium held at GITAM University on 24 December 2023. His thesis topic was "Oxide nanocomposites: Potential Thermoelectrics for Clean Energy Generation from Waste Heat."
