We are delighted to share that Mr. Jalaj Kumar, Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Electrical Engineering, has been conferred the GRID-INDIA Power System Award (GIPSA) 2025–26.

His work, titled “Modeling and Control of Voltage-Fed and Current-Fed Wireless Inductive Power Transfer Systems,” carried out under the supervision of Prof. Suvendu Samanta, was recognized for its excellence in the Power Systems domain.

The GRID-INDIA Power System Awards (GIPSA) stands as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavour aimed at acknowledging outstanding research achievements in the Power System domain.
