A round of applause for Ms. Ananya P. Mukherjee !

Ms. Mukherjee, a PMRF Research Fellow at the Department of Earth Sciences, has been awarded second prize for the best poster presentation in the National Conference on 'Emerging Trends in Earth Sciences: Geohazards and Resource Management (ETES2024)' organized by the Department of Applied Geophysics, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad.

Her poster was on 'Estimation of Curie depth, Moho depth, and heat flow distribution using potential field data to evaluate the geothermal setup below the central part of the Eastern Ghats mobile belt, India.' We extend our congratulations to her and her mentor Prof. Animesh Mandal for this incredible achievement.
