Winner of the President’s Gold Medal and General Proficiency Medal, Farzan Adil Byramji enthusiastically shares with us his journey at IIT Kanpur. Farzan shares about his IIT Kanpur journey with us.

Q. Tell us about your journey at IIT Kanpur.

A. My IITK journey has been great. I've interacted with lots of interesting people, learned a lot from faculty and even from my peers and juniors who have taught me many things. I try to keep an open mind, even though I have sort of limited interests. It's a wonderful place, you get to learn a lot of things, meet a lot of different kinds of people.

Q. What are your future goals and aspirations?

A. So I will be doing a PHD in Theoretical Computer Science. Specifically, my interest lies in Complexity Theory and I hope to do good research and join academia If the job market is not too bad.
