Well done Ms. Kanchan Mahure Gunvantrao!

A PhD student at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Mahure has won the 2nd Best Paper Award in the International Conference on Experimental Mechanics, 2024, organized at IIT Madras by the Asian Society of Experimental Mechanics and Indian Society for Applied Mechanics. Her work, titled "Assessment of Crack Initiation and Evolution using Information Entropy", was mentored by Prof. Gopal Kamath, Prof. Venkitanarayanan Parameswaran, and Prof. P.M. Mohite.
