We are delighted to share that Mr. Moonis Ali, PhD scholar from the Civil Engineering Department, IIT Kanpur, has been awarded the Third Prize at the Forest Stack Open Innovation Challenge 2025, organized by the Rajasthan Forest Department.

Team GeoSilvi, comprising PhD scholars Mr. Moonis Ali, Mr. Aditya Kumar, and Mr. Apratim Biswas, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Bharat Lohani and Mr. Vinod Kumar contributed to the team’s innovative work on tree-level carbon intelligence using LiDAR.
