A collaborative research study including important contribution from Prof. Arun Shukla 's laboratory in the Department of Biological Sciences & Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur has been published in Cell Press. 

This study uncovers novel aspects of signaling and regulation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are one of the most important class of drug targets. This study should improve the prospects of novel drug discovery at GPCRs for multiple human diseases, and it involves research laboratories from University of Birmingham in UK, Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, and Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, Germany.
