The Department of Chemical Engineering successfully hosted Research Scholars' Day (RSD) 2025, an annual flagship event dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the innovative research conducted by students. This one-day symposium served as a vibrant platform for scientific exchange, encouraging meaningful discussions and fostering closer student-faculty interaction.
This year's plenary session featured Prof. Deepak Kunzru, Dean of the Graduate School & Research at Ahmedabad University and Superannuated Professor of Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur, who delivered an insightful talk titled "Recent Advances in Chemical Engineering". The day also featured the prestigious C.V. Seshadri Memorial Distinguished Lecture, delivered by Prof. Jitendra Sangwai from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, titled "I am the Subsurface Reservoir".
The event continued with engaging oral presentations and a poster session from our research scholars, chaired by esteemed faculty members from Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (AITH), and Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur (CSJM).
