IIT Kanpur will host Techkriti'25, one of India's top technology and innovation festivals, from March 27, 2025. The event will feature General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff of India, as the chief guest, with a special focus on the "Rakshakriti" defence symposium. The symposium will highlight the latest technological advancements from the Army, Navy, Para forces, and other defence units. The inauguration will include lighting of the lamp, followed by speeches from dignitaries such as Dr. Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur, and Dr. Amitabha Bandyopadhyaya, Chairman of the Festival Advisory Committee, as well as a cultural performance.

After the inaugural session, General Anil Chauhan will visit the Techkriti Expo, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in defence and technology. The exhibition will provide attendees with insights into the future of national security and warfare. The day will conclude with an exclusive live demonstration at the Airstrip, offering a firsthand experience of India's advanced defence capabilities.
