Just Transition Research Centre (JTRC) at IIT Kanpur successfully concluded a certificate course titled "Climate Justice and Climate Policy", from February 5th to 7th, 2025. This course aimed to address the equitable distribution of climate change impacts and explore policy strategies related to the issue.

The course provided participants with a unique opportunity for live interactions with leading experts in the field. The instructors included prominent figures from both IIT Kanpur and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

The course was coordinated by Prof. Pradip Swarnakar from JTRC IIT Kanpur, and led by Prof. James Goodman, Prof. Devleena Ghosh, Dr. Matt Trull, and Dr. Julia Scott-Stevenson, all from UTS.
