IIT Kanpur's Physical Education Section celebrated National Sports Day today, August 29, at the Open Air Theatre. A 2.5 km Cross Country Race was organized, attracting participation from around 500 students.

The race was inaugurated by Professor Rahul Mangal, Chairman, Sports and Physical Education Committee, who flagged off the event. Professor Siddhartha Panda sir presented prizes to the top 10 winners in both boys' and girls' categories.

Professor Rahul Mangal extended his best wishes to all participants, emphasizing the importance of sports and physical activity.
