Akshar - 2023 is going to be IIT Kanpur's very own literature festival which provides us an opportunity to witness and participate in the many literary and cultural activities like poetry, story recitals, dance performances, bhajans, panel discussions, interesting talks and lectures, a book fair and so much more.

The event will see participation from the stalwarts in the field of literature, drama, poetry, music, dance and so many others and seeks to provide all with 3 days full of fun, frolic and deliberation in the various colours of life.

This year Akshar is brought by the joint efforts of the Shivani Centre for the Nurture and Re-Integration of Hindi and Other Indian Languages, the Rajbhasha Prakoshth (Hindi Cell), APPROACH Cell, IIT Kanpur  and Gaatha - an SIIC IIT Kanpur incubated company.

Akshar 2023 will be held from 15th - 17th October 2023 from 2:30 pm onwards at the Outreach Auditorium, IIT Kanpur.
