It gives me immense pleasure to share with you that IIT Kanpur hosted the Y20 Consultation (being supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs) as part of the G20 Presidency of India. 

With over 1500 youth delegates, the event was a resounding success, & we are proud to have been a part of it. Dr. Raj Shekhar, Commissioner of Kanpur, joined us as the Chief Guest for this event. The Y20 Consultation provided a platform for young minds to deliberate on three main topics - "Future of Health," "Technologies for Sustainable Future," and "Innovation in Future of Work." An esteemed panel consisting of experts and entrepreneurs shed light on India's journey in core domains of innovation and technology and how we can impact globally with collective measures. 

As a host of the event, we also held a grand exhibition with more than 50 stalls showcasing diverse technologies and innovations that can make an impact even at the grassroots level. As part of this event, Youth Welfare Department and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Uttar Pradesh, have selected one male youth and one female youth from 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh to participate in this event. 

The Youth Welfare Department has given them a prize of Rs 5000 each. I would like to thank all the participants, delegates, and guests who attended the event and made it a grand success.
