IIT Kanpur has established an impressive incubation eco-system. The eco-system boasts of 100+ startups in diverse areas. Abhivyakti 2023 being organized in the campus is a celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship to bring together key players in the startup ecosystem to showcase futuristic innovations, enable fundraising, networking and business connections. 

The event was graced by distinguished guests from the Industry & Government, including Shri Ajay Hinduja, Hinduja Group (who joined online), Shri Arun Tiwari, Group President, BFSI, Hinduja Group, Dr. Ajay Kumar, former Defence Secretary and Visiting Distinguished Professor, and Shri SivaSubramanian Ramann, Chairman of SIDBI, who shared their valuable insights on the startup ecosystem in the country.

Over 70 startups from various sectors, including agritech, cleantech, cybersecurity, fintech, healthcare, infrastructure, defence, sustainability, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence, are being showcased. More than 40 investors from diverse backgrounds and industries are present to invest in startups with high growth potential. Various events and activities have been organized throughout the festival to encourage dialogue and collaboration, such as Government se Baat, Fund Sights, Samvaad with Industry, and the Battle of Ideas, where startups will pitch their innovative solutions to a panel of judges. Another festival highlight is a Drone Show, showcasing cutting-edge drone technologies to participants.
