The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC), an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs, organized a training course on Industrial and Electronics Waste Recycling Management. The course aimed to foster a greater inclination towards material recycling, recovery, and reuse of industrial and electronic waste streams. It began by developing the fundamentals of recycling, followed by an in-depth analysis of raw feed and recycled products to highlight the various processes involved in material recycling.

The course also focused on the energy and material balance of recycling systems, providing participants with a general awareness of the global issue of industrial and electronic waste. It facilitated the development of future opportunities in material recycling, encouraged innovative approaches, and promoted public awareness. The program was designed for teachers of engineering management and research scholars, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to contribute to the advancement of recycling technologies and practices.
