The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC), an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs, organized a training course on robotics. The course was coordinated by Prof. Ashish Dutta and Prof. K.R. Guruprasad from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Invited speakers from industries and research laboratories were present to provide participants with exposure to real-world robotics applications and ongoing research. This course was specifically designed for teachers, researchers, and industry professionals looking to enhance their skills in robotics and automation. The final assessment consisted of a quiz and written exams.
