On the occasion of National Pollution Control Day, IIT Kanpur hosted a significant event with the esteemed presence of Dean of Administration, Prof. Kumar Vaibhav Srivastava, Head of Department of Physics, Prof. Tapobrata Sarkar, Prof. Rohit Medwal, along with other distinguished faculty members and students. 

The event highlighted the five key strategies for Pollution Prevention and Control: Reduce, Eliminate, Treat, Segregate, and Dispose. The discussion focused on the importance of these methods and their associated benefits in controlling pollution. Special attention was given to the economic advantages of biogas waste treatment and the innovative devices developed by startups in this field, showcasing the potential for technological advancements in pollution control. 

The event at IIT Kanpur not only raised awareness about effective pollution control strategies but also highlighted the vital role of innovation and sustainable practices in shaping a cleaner, healthier future.
