Inter IIT Cultural Meet 8.0 Inaugurated at IIT Kanpur

The Inter IIT Cultural Meet 8.0 (IICM 8.0) was formally inaugurated on 23 December 2025 at IIT Kanpur, marking the beginning of a national celebration of art, creativity, and cultural unity across the IIT fraternity.

The opening ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Soma Ghosh (Padma Shri awardee), Prof. Manindra Agrawal (Director, IIT Kanpur), Prof. Braj Bhushan (Deputy Director, IIT Kanpur), Prof. Pratik Sen (Dean of Students’ Affairs, IIT Kanpur), and Prof. Sagar Chakraborty (Chairman, CMAC, IIT Kanpur).

The event featured traditional rituals and a captivating Kathak performance by Ms. Kratika Singh and Ms. Priyanka setting the tone for the days ahead.

With this inauguration, Inter IIT Cultural Meet 8.0 stands officially open, bringing together students from IITs across India to celebrate creativity and collaboration.
