A new air-conditioned dental outpatient wing at the IIT Kanpur Health Centre was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Director Prof. Manindra Agrawal. The event, coinciding with his first official visit to the centre and completion of one year in office, was followed by a felicitation by Dr. R.K. Jais.

Dr. Rakesh Mishra expressed gratitude, noting the Director’s role in transforming the institute’s infrastructure and work culture. “This wing reflects our commitment to providing dignified, sensitive, and high-quality care,” he said.

Deputy Director Prof. Braj Bhushan, and other dignitaries also attended the ceremony. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mamta Vyas highlighted the centre’s ongoing healthcare initiatives and the impact of institutional support.

The new wing marks a significant step in IIT Kanpur’s mission to enhance healthcare facilities for its community.
