The Computer Centre at IIT Kanpur marked Safer Internet Day 2025 with an impactful cybersecurity awareness workshop at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Kanpur. The event, aligned with this year's global theme "Together for a Better Internet," brought together approximately 95 students and teachers for a comprehensive session on digital safety and responsible internet usage.

The workshop addressed pressing concerns in today's digital landscape, focusing on both common and sophisticated cyber threats that young internet users might encounter.

This initiative forms part of a broader nationwide campaign spearheaded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to foster safer digital habits among India's young internet users.
