IIT Kanpur, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, organized a One-Day training program of Masters Trainers on Mera Yuva Bharat portal.

A total of 47 Program Officers from various Colleges, Universities, and Institutions from Auraiya, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Sitapur, Bijnor as well as IIT Kanpur listed by Central NSS Directorate & UP NSS Directorate participated in the program, conducted under the expert guidance of Ms. Manjula Juneja, Under Secretary, Mera Yuva Bharat Section.

The opening ceremony of program held in Rajeev Motwani Lecture Hall-101 at the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering with the introductory speech of Dr. Ram Narain, APEO GR-1, Program Nodal Officer, IIT Kanpur; program overview speech of Md. Junaid, Digital Trainer, Ministry of Electronics & IT; motivational speech of Chief Guest Prof. Indra Sen, Chairman Sports & Physical Education Committee; IIT Kanpur as well as the Guest of Honour Dr. Neeraj Mohan Chawke, NSS Course Coordinator, IIT Kanpur; Dr. Shyam Mishra, NSS Program Coordinator, CSJMU Kanpur; Shri Shubhankar Singh, Official NSS Regional Directorate, Lucknow; Shri Lokender Singh, Official NSS Regional Directorate, Lucknow.

The Training Program, under the guidance of Md. Junaid, MY Bharat Digital Trainer, Ministry of Electronics & IT, included introduction of the portal, operation, and usage of the portal for the benefit of Students, Organizations and Nodal Officers, concluding with an evaluation of the participants and their feedback about the program with administrative & logistic assistance from IIT Kanpur.
