Continuing its impressive streak with improved rankings in the recently-announced QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023, IIT Kanpur has jumped 37 places to secure the 85th position globally in engineering & technology, and the 5th position domestically. 

It has been ranked among the top 100 universities in the world for Computer Science & Information Systems and Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and has secured notable positions in fields like Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering, Mathematics, as well as Natural Sciences.
