The 10th India Water Impact Summit (Dec 9–11, 2025) concluded at IIT Delhi, calling for district-level and decentralized river management to ensure India’s long-term water and food security.

Organized by C-Ganga, IIT Kanpur, the summit brought together policymakers, scientists, administrators, and global experts to discuss sustainable river and water governance. Experts emphasized that local action at the district level can drive transformational change across India’s river systems.

The summit reaffirmed its role as a key platform shaping policy, collaboration, and actionable frameworks for a water-secure and environmentally resilient India.
