Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has been honoured with the ‘Special Jury Recognition for Consistent Performance’ in Best Practices in Cybersecurity Education & Research at the DSCI Excellence Awards 2025.

The award was presented by Shri Navin Kumar Singh, National Cybersecurity Coordinator of India, during the DSCI Annual Information Security Summit (AISS) 2025 in New Delhi.

This recognition highlights IIT Kanpur’s unwavering commitment to strengthening India’s cybersecurity ecosystem. C3iHub – the Cybersecurity Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur – works closely with the institute to promote indigenous cybersecurity capabilities, foster innovation, support startups, and enable advanced research and skill development.

Notably, IIT Kanpur has been a recipient of the DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices for Cybersecurity Evangelists in Academic Research and Education in 2023 and 2024, making this continued recognition a testament to its leadership and impact in cybersecurity education and research.
