In a major stride toward bolstering the nation’s cyber readiness, C3iHub, IIT Kanpur has signed an MoU with HQ Central Command, IndianArmy to launch an advanced cybersecurity training programme.

Delivered by C3iHub, the initiative features two structured 3-month modules designed to equip units and formations with critical cyber defense skills.
The programme is designed to deepen understanding of emerging cyber threats, enhance incident response capabilities, and elevate operational preparedness. By integrating modern cyber defense frameworks into formal training, the initiative aims to enhance the digital security ecosystem across the theater.

The MoU was formalized in the presence of Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva, COS, HQ Surya Command, and Prof. Somitra Sanadhya, Program Director, C3iHub. The MoU was signed by Dr. Tanima Hajra, CEO, on behalf of the C3iHub. This collaboration marks a significant advancement in Digital Defence, reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to staying ahead in an evolving information landscape.
