C3iHub, IIT Kanpur deploys an advanced Security Operations Center (SOC) at SAIL Bhilai Steel Plant, strengthening cybersecurity resilience across one of India’s critical industrial infrastructures.

The SOC was inaugurated by Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur, and Shri C. R. Mahapatra, Director In-Charge, SAIL Bhilai Steel Plant, in the presence of Dr. Tanima Hajra, CEO, C3iHub, Shri M. P. Singh, GM (IT), BSP, along with senior officers from C3iHub and BSP.

The SOC provides 24×7 security monitoring, real-time threat detection, and incident response capabilities. Leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and expert oversight, it will help strengthen cyber defenses, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize operational disruptions due to cyber incidents.

This deployment underscores C3iHub’s mission to translate cutting-edge cybersecurity research into scalable, real-world solutions, reinforcing cyber resilience across India’s critical infrastructure sectors.
