IIT Kanpur has signed an MoU with DICUL AM Private Limited to advance the design, development, and manufacturing of patient-specific 3D-printed implants for orthopaedic and spinal applications.

Under the collaboration:
* IIT Kanpur will lead implant design and development.
* DICUL AM Pvt. Ltd. will handle manufacturing as per regulatory standards.
* DMIHER, Wardha, will support clinical trials as the clinical partner.

The initiative aligns with Make in India and Viksit Bharat 2047, strengthening India’s indigenous medical technology ecosystem.
