C3iHub, IIT Kanpur successfully conducted a two-day specialized training programme on Maritime Cybersecurity for officials of the Indian Ports Association at the IIT Kanpur – Noida Extension Centre.

The programme was enriched by the presence of Dr. Arvind Bhisikar, Executive Director (IT), Indian Ports Association; Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur; Mr. Akhilesh Variar, IPS, National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC), a unit of NTRO; and Dr. Tanima Hajra, Chief Executive Officer, C3iHub, who shared valuable insights on strengthening cybersecurity frameworks for critical maritime infrastructure.

The training focused on enhancing cybersecurity preparedness across India’s port and maritime ecosystem, addressing emerging cyber risks through expert-led sessions on compliance, threat intelligence, digital forensics, and incident response.
