The workshop highlighted recent developments in wireless communications technologies, focusing especially on 6G. It was held in concurrence with the 60th birthday of Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, where he was felicitated for his contributions to the field of communications systems. His teaching, research, and academic administration legacies were also cherished by his colleagues, former students, friends, and family members.

Distinguished speakers from industry, government-funded research labs, and academia delivered invited talks. These include:

• Shri Ashutosh Agarwal (Principal Engineer, Qualcomm)
• Shri Anshuman Nigam (Director/Principal Architect, Samsung)
• Shri Ashutosh Gore(VP Engineering, Reliance Jio Platforms)

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay (CEO, C-DOT).

The workshop also featured a panel discussion by faculty members from IIT Kanpur working at the intersection of AI, Wireless, and Cybersecurity.

A significant milestone was also achieved with an MoU signed by Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur, and Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO, C-DOT, to set up a C-DOT Academic CoE (Center of Excellence) at IIT Kanpur.
