In a touching tribute to their late parents and a powerful act of gratitude, Mr. Manoj Gupta and Mr. Neeraj Gupta, co-founders of Opalescent IT Solutions Inc., have established a dedicated EWS (Economically Weaker Section) ward at IIT Kanpur’s upcoming Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology (GSMST).

This eight-bed facility, named in memory of Mrs. Rukmani Gupta and Mr. M.C. Gupta, reflects a deep family connection with the institute—Mr. M.C. Gupta served IIT Kanpur with distinction from 1961 to 1997.

Channeled through the IIT Kanpur Foundation (USA), this generous contribution marks a historic first: children of a former IITK employee giving back at such scale.
