The European Geosciences Union (EGU) has named the 49 recipients of next year’s Union Medals and Awards, Division Medals, and Division Outstanding Early Career Scientist Awards. These individuals are honoured for their important contributions to the Earth, planetary and space sciences. 

We congratulate Prof. Sachchida Nand Tripathi on being awarded the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Medal 2025.

Alexander von Humboldt medal is awarded to scientists who have performed research in developing regions for the benefit of people and society, through which they have achieved exceptional international standing in geosciences, planetary or space sciences, defined in their widest senses.
