A moment of pride as Prof. Mahendra Verma, Department of Physics, has been offered a Senior Research Fellowship by Stanford University.

Prof. Verma is a recipient of the JC Bose Fellowship, the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Cray HPC Award, the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Teachers Award, along with being a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Sciences, India, among many other accolades.

An accomplished academician and researcher, his research interests lie in Theoretical studies of Turbulence, Convection, MHD Turbulence, Dynamo, Instabilities and Chaos, and Nonequilibrium.

The entire IIT Kanpur community congratulates him on yet another feather in his cap.
