A proud moment as Dr. Dootika Vats, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, is awarded the Associateship of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru.

An Associate Professor, Associate Editor for Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics and Sankhya B, and the 2022 and 2023 Sushila and Kantilal Mehta Awardee at IIT Kanpur, Dr. Vats has research interests in Markov chain Monte Carlo, output analysis for stochastic simulation and stochastic optimization algorithms.
