We are delighted to share that Mr. Ashok Narayan Tripathi, Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Electrical Engineering, has been selected for the First Prize in the PhD Colloquium Award at IEEE UPCON 2025, held at IIT (BHU).

Working in the area of outdoor insulation in High Voltage Engineering, Mr. Tripathi defended his Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Prof. Alok Ranjan Verma, reflects the impact of his doctoral research.
