IIT Kanpur celebrated Teachers’ Day by honouring its esteemed faculty for their exceptional contributions to teaching, research, and mentorship.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Surendra Prasad, Former Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Emeritus Professor, Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, IIT Delhi, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur. The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Braj Bhushan, Deputy Director, IIT Kanpur, Prof. Jitendra Bera, Dean of Faculty Affairs and Prof. Manoj Harbola, Professor-In-Charge, Center for Educational Research and Teaching Excellence (CERTEX) along with other deans, faculty members, staff, students and also the family members of the esteemed awardees.

On the occasion, the Chief Guest, Prof. Prasad, highlighted the importance of teachers as the true architects of society, nurturing young minds and inspiring them to achieve their fullest potential.
