IIT Kanpur, under the Navankur initiative, hosted a Kavi Sammelan titled 'Anantini' to celebrate Vishwa Hindi Diwas. Notable poets such as Harshraj Harsh, Gaurav Sakshi, Bal Mohan Pandey, Babusha Kohli, Varun Anand, Abhishek Shukla, and Ali Haider graced the occasion, contributing to the cultural vibrancy of the event. The gathering was coordinated by Ekagra Sharma, who helped bring the poetic talent together, fostering an enriching experience for all attendees.

The Kavi Sammelan reignited the passion for poetry, providing poets with a unique platform to share their creative works with the audience. It helped nurture a deeper appreciation for creative arts and encouraged individuals to explore poetry. 

Second day featured Kahani Vachan, led by Mehak Mirza Prabhu and Amandeep, on the occasion of Vishwa Hindi Diwas which added a distinctive layer to the event. Focused on the art of storytelling, Kahani Vachan bridged oral traditions with contemporary narrative forms, celebrating both the culture and personal interpretations of stories. It offered a rich, immersive experience, allowing attendees to connect with the timeless art of storytelling. 

These sessions greatly contributed to enhancing the cultural landscape of IIT Kanpur, nurturing a deeper appreciation for the art of storytelling.
