IITK Young Alumnus Awardee, Dr. Pravesh K Kothari recived the Presburger Award for contributions to theoretical computer science.  Dr. Kothari, Assistant Professor at Princeton University, designs efficient algorithms for average-case computational problems arising in theoretical computer science and related fields, like statistics. This award is given by the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science.
