Alma mater is a second home, a destination where recollection of heartwarming fond memories awaits! From 20-22 February we witnessed our alumni going back in time recreating those fond memories and reminiscing the past. They were told the developments Institute has witnessed in recent years and the vision for the future.

Additionally, we expressed our gratitude and presented Prof. Raj Bordia, George J. Bishop III Endowed Chair Professor of Ceramics and Materials Engineering at Clemson University, with the Distinguished Service Award - 2020 plaques. The Foundation Day event was held virtually in 2020, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alumni from the Class of 1979 have made significant contributions to various initiatives at the Institute such as 1979 Class Fund, Class of 1979 Infrastructure Fund, multiple Scholarships for Students, Lecture Series, several Faculty Chairs including Class of 1979 Young Faculty Fellowship and so on. It is my pleasure to mention that Class of 1979 has also contributed to upgradation of the waterfront at our Library along with Class of 1995. Institute is grateful to Class of 1979 for their generous support.

On behalf of the Institute, we would like to express my gratitude to the Batch Coordinators Mr. Shahid Sheikh, Mr. Rajiv Roy, and Mr. Vasant Joshi for their help and support in the successful organisation of the reunion.
