Congratulations to our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Ankur Garg (MT/CSE/2015), Scientist at ISRO–Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, on receiving the Vigyan Yuva Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award 2025 in the category of Space Science & Technology, under Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar, 2025.

Mr. Garg is recognized for his outstanding contributions to Satellite Data Processing, Earth Observation, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in Remote Sensing. He has played a key role in several major ISRO projects of national and international importance, including Oceansat-3, Cartosat-2S, Resourcesat, EOS-08, and the Microsat/Nanosat missions.

Currently, he leads algorithm development for the TRISHNA (Indo-French Mission), G20 Satellite, and Resourcesat-3S Stereo Mission.
