We are proud to share that our esteemed alumnus Dr. Subhradeep Roy (MT/ ME/2012), now a Tenure-track Assistant Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, USA, has received the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award for his project “Data-driven Multiscale Modelling of Complex Traffic Systems Utilizing Networked Driving Simulators.”

His research explores how humans think and react while driving, combining engineering and neuroscience to create interpretable, data-driven traffic models. Using networked driving simulators that track both driving performance and brain activity, Dr. Roy aims to design intelligent transportation systems that better understand human behaviour.
